Steve Martin in a leather jacket with a motorcycle and a sadistic temperament - now that is what I call a film, ladies and gentlefolk. If you add a giant, many-toothed, cannibalistic, talking plant then really, is there anything more that you need than a bag of popcorn and a large grin? That was a poorly-formed sentence and I'm sort of ashamed but also too lazy to work out another way of phrasing that...

My current obsession with the Little Shop of Horrors (as if you couldn't guess that this was what I was talking about) has sprung from the fact that I'm in the chorus of a production of it at a school that's twinned with mine. Good times. Practically everyone on the cast is absolutely lovely and some of my best friends are also in it, not to mention some people I don't really know but who can sing fantastically. Just watching it during the parts when I'm not on stage (think 95% of the time) is enough for me. I can't stop laughing! The guy who's doing the voice of the plant, Jake, is absolutely perfect for the role and every time he starts singing I grin like a complete loon.
